# 25 hot new RV floor plans for 2025

> Everything we loved at the 2024 Hershey RV show

We went to the 2024 Hershey RV show and found some exciting new RVs and styles for the 2025 model year. (Yes, we’re still in 2024, but RV dealers are already selling 2025s. We don’t make the rules.)

There are three themes that stood out to me, particularly in towables: desks, two bedroom layouts, and high-end residential style interior design.

This is by no means a comprehensive list of everything at the show - just what I found particularly interesting. Most of them are all-new floor plans. So without further ado, here are the RV Envy favorites for 2025 as seen at the Hershey RV Show.

## Motorhomes

### Class A motorhomes

#### Berkshire XL 40H

Berkshire introduced the Berkshire XL 40H with one of the most stunning interiors I’ve ever seen. The juxtaposition of the light and dark woods in conjunction with the reeded wood paneling make it feel like you’ve walked into a 5-star resort on wheels.

(In fact, a little birdie told me the rear wall with the LED accent light cost 4-figures alone.)

There’s a hidden pantry behind the fireplace wall, and the tilting King-size bed lends to an incredibly spacious and open feel from front to back.

### Class B vans

#### Westfalia Wave

- [Westfalia Wave Pop Top](https://rvenvy.com/class-b-motorhomes/westfalia/wave/pop-top): 20 ft 9 in, sleeps 6, 9,350 lbs GVWR, MSRP $179,849

The Westfalia Wave marks an exciting return of the iconic Westfalia brand to the North American market, this time built on a RAM ProMaster chassis. (Fun fact: the Westfalia is built by the same group that produces Roadtrek.)

It comes in two variants – Wave Skylight and Wave Pop Top – the latter being reminiscent of the classic VW camper vans from the 1970s and 1980s. It seats four but can sleep up to six by converting the seats into a bed.

While the floor plan isn’t anything revolutionary, one advantage the Wave has is the ample amount of storage beneath the rear bed. I really liked that the storage was a separate compartment from the main floor space, since it can keep things like beach toys and sewer hoses isolated from the rest of the RV.

#### Jayco Swift 20E

- [Jayco Swift 20E](https://rvenvy.com/class-b-motorhomes/jayco/swift/20e): 20 ft 11 in, sleeps 2, 9,350 lbs GVWR, MSRP $161,550

The Swift 20E has a very similar floor plan to the Westfalia Wave, with the exceptions being that the rear storage area doesn’t have a partition, it offers a Murphy bed in the rear, and it can be optioned with a ~~desk~~ “work station” in place of the passenger seats that would sit behind the driver’s seat.

Don’t judge the work station based on looks – because it doesn’t *look* very comfortable at all – but I was pleasantly surprised when I sat down and used my iPad at it. There’s plenty of room for an external monitor, and the ledge on the inner side of the workspace turned out to be a nice place to put my feet up. With an armrest on the right side of the seat, it worked great for extending my arm onto the desk, making the ergonomics slightly better than I was expecting.

I can picture using this van for remote working, though it’d be a little cramped for two people traveling in it for extended periods with the workspace option.

#### Boho “Del Rey” Camper Van

While not a mass manufacturer like the others we typically cover, Boho Camper Vans is worthy of a mention. There are a bunch of things that Boho has done that make their campers insanely cool.

Just from a peek inside the Boho Del Rey, you won’t see a toilet, shower, or dinette… but that doesn’t mean they’re not there.

The Tetravan folding shower is ingeniously tucked away in what can best be described as a pull-down dishwasher-style drawer. Hang your shower curtain from the ceiling and the built-in drain in the basin captures water and sends it to a tank.

The cassette toilet pulls out from another drawer and stows away nicely when not needed. Keep in mind: there are no doors, so your business might just become the business of anyone you brought with you.

Just in front of the bed, you’ll find opposing benches. The dining table slides out from beneath the bed.

But the standout feature is the 48 volt battery system. Because of its efficiency, Boho claims the A/C can run all day long and only drain ~20% of the battery (in combination with the 1000-watt solar array on the roof). I was also told the batteries can be recharged from 0-100% in 10 hours by running the engine through the use of a Wakespeed Smart Bidirectional Charger.

Boho has a history of making rental vans, which they say has informed their construction as they build new units, inferring their vans are only becoming more reliable as they continue to build more.

The Del Rey is a great option if you don’t mind not having a traditional bathroom, and I’m excited to see what they produce in the future.

#### Entegra Condor 22T / Jayco Granite Ridge 22T

Technically introduced last year, the Condor 22T is a B+ van on a Ford Transit chassis with rear twin beds and lots of rear storage. But the unique part of this van is the corner dinette, which is a great way to seat two in a compact space.

If you like this layout but need just a little more space (and prefer a dry bath), read on because Entegra offers the same floor plan in a Class C with a bunk over the cab.

### Class C motorhomes

#### Entegra Odyssey SE 22TF / Jayco Redhawk SE 22T

Stepping up from the Entegra Condor 22T (B+), the Odyssey SE 22TF has basically the same layout but includes a bunk over the cab and a dry bath.

But unfortunately the Odyssey SE comes on a Ford E-350 chassis whose exterior styling has changed very little since the body style was introduced in 2008. And because the cab isn’t optioned up, there’s no digital display (or navigation) in the cockpit.

If modern aesthetics aren’t important to you, this might be a great option. But if you want to feel less like you’re living in an era where Obama was just elected and the latest and greatest phone was the iPhone 3G, you might want to look elsewhere.

#### Grand Design Lineage 25FW

*In stark contrast to the dismal styling of the Odyssey SE...* Say hello to the first-ever motorhome from Grand Design! Until now they've only built towables. This is their first forray into motorhomes, and this one ships on a diesel Mercedes Benz chassis and has a full-length slide out.

In classic Grand Design fashion, they’ve been intentional about rethinking what a Class C motorhome could feel like, and have shaken things up in the same way they did when they first appeared on the scene with their travel trailers and fifth wheels.

The Lineage 25FW sleeps up to four between the rear King bed and the 2-person bunk over the cab. But what stands out is the fit and finish. The entry door has storage in it and much of the interior paneling and ceiling is black or dark gray. The bunk over cab is ducted, the shower floor and air conditioning unit both have a Grand Design logo on it, and the closet doors have handles that are flush until you press in, which unlocks the cabinets and makes the handles pop out.

Expect to see some of Grand Design’s innovations copied by competitors in the next couple years.

## Towables

### Fifth wheel trailers

#### Brinkley Model G 3250

Similar to Grand Design, Brinkley has built a reputation for innovation and build quality.

If I were in the market for a fifth wheel, the new Model G 3250 would be a top contender. It was a special treat getting a first-hand demonstration from Nate Goldenberg, co-owner of Brinkley and the man responsible for many of the innovations finding their way into production.

This floor plan features a rear patio with a mini garage that includes a bar sink, fridge, adjustable desk, and a loft. In front of the bar sink is a window that passes through to the interior kitchen, making it easy to pass food and drink between the two rooms.

Nate explained that many people are looking for configurations with two separate workspaces, so the desk in the rear room/garage and the dinette in the main room that converts into an L-desk fit the bill perfectly.

The sofa can be configured in an L-shape (with 5 segments) or a U-shape (with 7 segments), providing a great division of space between the living area and the kitchen.

I could write an entire post on this floor plan, so here are some of the other highlights in a condensed form:

- The microwave doubles as an air fryer
- Pull-downs and pull-outs:
  - There’s a pull-out pantry and a pull-out utility closet with a power outlet inside of it - perfect for charging a vacuum while it’s stowed away.
  - A pull-out cutting board sits above the trash can, making it easy to clean without a mess.
  - A pull-down utensil tray and pull-down knife rack are cleverly placed just above the sink.
  - A MORryde storage tray spans the width of the fifth wheel and can be pulled out from either side. (This is common feature in high-end Class A motorhomes, but this is the first I’ve seen it in a fifth wheel.)
- The hanger rod in the bedroom closet features a built-in LED light strip. (How have I never seen this before?)

Also, just look at that interior. As I always say, some RV interiors are nicer than many apartments in major cities, and this is a textbook example.

#### Brinkley Model Z 3515

The standout feature of the Model Z 3515 is the rear office, complete with its own entry door on the driver’s side of the RV.

Whenever I see a desk in an RV, I rate it for comfort, size, space for a monitor, ergonomics, and general enjoyment. The office in the Model G 3250 is hands down the best I’ve ever seen.

It features massive windows across the rear and one side of the unit. Plenty of desktop space and depth means you could fit a laptop, keyboard, mouse, and even a couple monitors if you wanted to – though they might block the view. And the adjustable height means you can get settled just the way you like it, though it’s worth noting its height can only be raised to around the base of the window – it's not a full standing desk.

The door that separates the office from the living area means you can eliminate some of the distraction you’d face (especially from little ones) that comes from being in the same room. And don’t forget there’s a second entry door in the office too.

#### Forest River Impression 360MYR

Not to be left out, Forest River has produced some bangers of their own this year. From the second we walked down the Impression aisle, we were told we *had* to go check out this floor plan.

The best way I can describe this floor plan is “residential”. It comes with a round dining table in the middle, a large desk, a rear kitchen with a sink that faces an oversized rear window, and two recliner chairs that point toward a TV with hidden storage behind it.

Mid-ship, directly across from the entry door, is where you’ll find a laundry room that also includes a toilet. I don’t recall having ever seen a washer/dryer exposed in a half bath in a fifth wheel before – so it really feels more like a laundry room than a half bath... but it’s got both!

Leading toward the front, pass through the bedroom to the front bath with dual vanity. But there’s a surprise… inside the front closet is a hidden sit down vanity with a mirror. With one person at the vanity and another at the kitchen sink, you’ll have a tough time hearing each other because the trailer is so large - not necessarily a bad thing.

There’s been a recent trend of hiding bunk beds inside of a slide out behind an entertainment center (like the [Wildwood Heritage Glen 320VIEW](https://rvenvy.com/fifth-wheel-trailers/wildwood/heritage-glen/320view) and the [Forest River Salem 29VIEW](https://rvenvy.com/travel-trailers/forest-river/salem/29view)) so add this one to the mix, but with a twist.

Because the slide out housing the bunk beds is longer, it also offers a ton of storage that isn’t available on the previously-mentioned floor plans.

It utilizes the kitchen island as the dining table with chairs that fit around it, and against the wall is a desk with storage drawers that can be used when you don’t need the leg space under the desk.

#### Keystone Alpine Avalanche 366LS

The Avalanche has been renamed the *Alpine Avalanche,* to take advantage of its more well-known sister line, and the 366LS introduces a large rear kitchen with an island and a massive L-couch in the center living area. While most L-couch living areas directly face the TV, this L-couch is set further back and across from the entertainment area, which may be a factor if you like facing the TV directly.

It also comes equipped with a desk in the slide out. But given its proximity to the TV, you might be blasted with sound in your right ear if you’re trying to utilize the desk while someone else watches TV. And if you have little ones crawling around on the ground, keep in mind that you might not have the separation of space you’re looking for in a mobile workspace.

If desks and residential-style kitchens are your thing (and you have six figures to spend on a fifth wheel), you might like the DRV Mobile Suites 41FKRB. This rear bedroom layout has a large desk in its mid-living area and a front kitchen with more space than any other room.

The kitchen has bar-style seating that overlooks the TV in the living area, and a hood above the gas range located on the island – a new place for a range for me! In most RVs, I complain about the lack of kitchen counter space. This RV does not have that problem.

Continuing with the desk theme, Keystone has created the ultimate floor plan for families who want to homeschool on the road. The Montana 397FB is equipped with a second bedroom featuring quad bunks, desk space for two, and washer/dryer hookups. The desk sits on an elevated slide out, making it easier for little ones to touch the floor when sitting.

The second bedroom also features its own full bathroom, making this a two bedroom, two bath layout.

While there’s no dinette, it features a flip up bar top attached to the kitchen island with room to sit a good sized family. And the part I appreciate the most for this demographic - the sofa facing the TV has five segments, meaning everyone will have a great view for movie night.

We’ve previously covered the [Corterra 3.0](https://rvenvy.com/heartland-corterra-3.0-inspired-by-flipping-nomad)’s gorgeous interior design, as inspired by The Flipping Nomad. The new CT 3.5 features two full bedrooms, two full baths, a rear entry door, and a desk in the second bedroom with a loft above it.

It’s more affordable than many other options, but there are drawbacks. Movie night might be tricky since the loveseat is only designed for two. And while it technically has a desk, it’s small and doesn’t accommodate much more than a laptop.

A large L-couch and U-shaped kitchen provide separation of space. Above the rear bedroom is a large loft that can comfortably sleep at least three kids.

#### Keystone Montana High Country 377FL

While the Montana 377FL doesn’t have a second bedroom, it’s equipped with a large loft that has actual stairs. Cleverly hidden below the stairs is space for a washer/dryer.

It comes with a common front entertainment layout, but what makes this floor plan unique is the second entry door on the driver’s side, providing easy access to the bathroom when the slide outs are in.

#### Jayco Pinnacle 38SSWS

The Pinnacle 38SSWS isn’t particularly unique in its layout, but it has some nice features and is well-styled. The front bedroom includes a bay window/couch, which means if this were my RV, it’d be covered with clothes 100% of the time.

One thing that makes this floor plan special is the spacious rear living layout. The kitchen island is long, providing plenty of counter space and a built-in dishwasher.

Jayco has also equipped it with “Jayvoice”, a voice command system that offers control of lights and air conditioning units. It seemed to hear its wake word well – sometimes too well. Forget trying to talk about Jayco while *in* the Jayco, because any mention of the name – even in the middle of a sentence and without pauses – seemed to wake it up.

### Fifth wheel destination trailers

#### Salem Hemisphere ROOST43

I did a double-take when I walked by the ROOST43. At first glance, it looks like a destination trailer. But with a closer look, you’ll notice it’s *actually* a fifth wheel.

Since it’s not legally classified as a park model, Forest River was able to juice it with extra living space - 131 square feet more than legally allowed in a bumper pull, to be exact.

It’s legitimately a two-story fifth wheel, with three separate sleeping areas including a bedroom on one end, a loft down the hall from it, and another loft at the other end of the trailer. It contains two spiral staircases, a half bath off the main bedroom, a sliding patio door, and a separate family room with a very comfortable corner sofa that I personally spent about a half an hour sitting on while learning about the uniqueness of this unit.

#### Forest River Cedar Creek Cottage 41FWC

The Cedar Creek Cottage 41FWC is a similar concept to the ROOST43 that’s worth a look if you’re in the market for a destination fifth wheel, though its external styling is sure to raise some eyebrows.

The staircase leading to the loft is smaller than in the ROOST43, making this ideal for small kids. I particularly liked the bar-style seating that faces out the window. But the living area felt slightly cramped - something that could be solved by putting the entertainment center and fireplace on a small slide out, giving an extra foot or two of space between the TV and the couch with chaise lounge.

The Springdale is a modest travel trailer with big RV energy, thanks to two features that make it worth highlighting. First, I appreciated the double sliding door that leads to the bedroom. It gives it a grand feel that I don’t often see.

But the standout feature is the rear patio. It’s not designed to haul toys, but it’s equipped with a rear bar and a large TV, making the patio a great place to sit back and enjoy a game.

### Destination travel trailers

I’ve traditionally strayed away from including destination trailers in lists because of their relative lack of popularity, but with newer, more innovative layouts, I think we’ll start to see more people towing these.

#### Keystone Springdale 245ML

While definitely not winning any awards for its exterior looks, the Springdale 245ML redeems itself for what it has to offer. It’s another two-story RV with opposing lofts (one of which has its own fireplace) and a covered rear deck with sliding doors.

It’s a great unit for a couple. I’m not sure it makes a ton of sense for kids, as the second loft doesn’t have a staircase (it requires a telescoping ladder to access it – and a large one, at that) and there weren’t any curtains between lofts (though maybe they’ll be added in future examples), meaning there’s no privacy, or a way to block out light coming from downstairs.

The dinette contains a roll-top table which is a great space saver, though the only place for a TV is on top of where the table rolls out. There also didn’t appear to be space for a washer/dryer.

Despite the drawbacks, it’s a floor plan worth seeing if you like outdoor space and a two-story floor plan that gives it an open feel.

#### Forest River Ibex RVS3

Rounding out the list is Forest River’s retro-styled destination trailer, the Ibex RVS3 (also badged as the No Boundaries RVS3), the largest of three destination trailers in the line. It features a bedroom equipped with the worst desk space I’ve ever seen, though it partially redeems itself by having its own covered patio. You can enjoy your morning coffee while the kids are sleeping in the upstairs loft at the opposing end, accessible via a spiral staircase.

In the center of the unit is an L-shaped couch and a kitchen island with bar-style seating and a sliding glass door. The front bathroom (below the loft) houses the washer/dryer and a dual vanity sink.
