## Overview

Airstream's best-selling trailer since its 2016 debut, the Basecamp 16X has built a cult following among couples and solo travelers who want genuine off-grid capability without a massive tow rig. At just 2,700 lbs, it's one of the few Airstreams you can pull with a midsize SUV, yet it still delivers that legendary build quality. Owners consistently rate towing at nearly a perfect 5/5. Inside, the flexible layout does double duty as sleeping space and gear storage, and the wet bath keeps things functional without eating up precious square footage. It's a tight, intentional package designed for people who'd rather be somewhere remote than somewhere comfortable.
