## Overview

The bunkhouse layout is the headline here. Sleeping six in under 23 feet is no small feat, and the 178BHS pulls it off while still fitting a Queen bed for the adults and a full bath with a roomy 36x24 shower pan. Forest River leans into their "largest-in-class" claims with the windows, kitchen sink, and baggage doors, and the 78" interior height keeps things from feeling cramped. Owners who've put real miles on these report the A/C, fridge, and core systems hold up well, and the lightweight build makes it accessible to a wide range of tow vehicles. The optional value package adds worthwhile upgrades like a full-length power awning with LED strip lighting, solar prep, USB outlets, and a backup camera prep. Worth checking whether those are already specced on any unit you're considering.
