## Overview

What stands out immediately about the 28RKDS is the rear kitchen layout. It's a genuinely usable space with true solid surface countertops, hardwood cabinet doors with glass inserts, and an exclusive AirRV-Vection oven that goes beyond a standard microwave-convection combo. That 10.7 cubic foot refrigerator is a real differentiator at this price point. Sleep comfort gets serious attention too, with an 80" gel-infused memory foam mattress and EZ Roll blackout shades keeping the bedroom dark when you want it. The pass-through storage clocks in at 67.5 cubic feet. Heartland isn't exaggerating when they call it fifth-wheel-sized, and the 2" Azdel composite sidewalls with vacuum bonded roof add meaningful weather resistance for a travel trailer in this class.
