Newmar builds the Bay Star 3016 on a Ford F-53 chassis with a 7.3L V8, and owners consistently note how surprisingly car-like it feels behind the wheel. Reporting around 8.2 mpg and remarkably low engine heat and noise. The full-paint Masterpiece Finish with Diamond Shield front cap protection gives it a premium presence on the road, while the construction backs that up: gelcoated fiberglass sidewalls, aluminum-frame construction on 16" centers, and Polar Pak R19 roof insulation have proven themselves in temperatures from 25°F to 100°F. Inside, the rear bedroom layout keeps living and sleeping spaces distinct, and the optional drop-down bunk over the cockpit. Available with a fireplace and TV. Opens up the sleeping capacity meaningfully. The 10.1" multiplex monitor controls lighting and HVAC from the center of the coach, dual 13.5K BTU heat pump A/Cs handle the climate work, and the 5.5 kW Onan generator with automatic changeover means you're not scrambling when shore power disappears.
