What sets the Bayside RT apart is how seriously Chinook has tackled off-grid living in a compact package. The Expion 360 600Ah lithium battery system (7.2 kWh), 400-watt solar array with two additional plug-in ports for up to 240 more watts, and a Victron 3000-watt inverter mean you're not just surviving without hookups, you're comfortable. The Timberline diesel-fired hydronic system handles both heat and on-demand hot water from a single efficient source, and Starlink comes standard rather than as an afterthought. AWD capability opens up destinations that most Class Bs have to skip, while the front bath/rear bedroom layout keeps the living and sleeping zones feeling like separate spaces. Chinook's build quality shows in the details. Sika-bonded aluminum skins, a welded steel subfloor on rubber isolators, solid surface countertops and shower, and full body paint give this one a feel that's noticeably more substantial than the typical van conversion.
