Built on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis with upgraded Sumo suspension, the Xcursion AL2 is designed for travelers who want to go further off the beaten path without sacrificing comfort. Dual diesel and electric systems for both heating and hot water mean you're not dependent on any single power source, and the roof-top solar comes standard, with an optional Freedom 1080 package that adds 1080Ah of Dragon Fly lithium batteries and a 3000-watt inverter if you want to ditch the generator entirely. Inside, the fit and finish punches above the Class B segment: solid surface countertops, dovetail drawers with soft-close slides, a Lagun removable table, and a shower with dual-entry solid doors are details you'd expect in a much larger rig. At roughly 20 feet, it threads through trailheads and mountain switchbacks that would stop a Class A cold.
