The 21SS is one of those trailers that surprises you. It tows like a smaller rig but opens up into a layout that sleeps seven with a full bath. Full Azdel wall construction, a laminated walkable roof, and 6-sided aluminum framing give it a more solid feel than most expandables in the class. Forest River includes 200W of solar with a 1000W inverter and 30-amp charge controller right from the factory, along with 12V thermostat-controlled heated tanks and a radiant foil insulated underbelly, so it's genuinely set up for shoulder-season camping, not just summer weekends. The folding end beds are the one honest trade-off owners mention, so if you camp in comfort-critical company, it's worth a close look at the mattress situation before you commit.

Forest River Rockwood Roo 21SS Expandable Travel Trailer – Space, Comfort, and Adventure Ready
Get the best of both worlds with the Forest River Rockwood Roo 21SS, an expandable travel trailer designed to give you the open feel of a larger RV while maintaining easy towability. With a smart layout and a single slide out, this model creates a spacious and comfortable interior perfect for family trips or weekend getaways.
Inside, you will immediately notice how the slide out opens up the living area, providing plenty of room to relax and move around. The booth dinette and 60 inch sofa offer comfortable seating for meals, entertaining, or unwinding after a day outdoors. You also have the option to upgrade to theatre seating or a free standing table setup to match your lifestyle.
One of the standout features of this model is the front and rear queen tent end beds. These provide additional sleeping space while keeping the trailer compact for towing. Each tent end includes a convenient overhead shelf for extra storage, making it easy to keep your essentials within reach.
The kitchen is thoughtfully designed with everything you need to prepare meals on the go. A three burner range, microwave, double sink, and refrigerator are complemented by overhead cabinets for storing dishes and pantry items. Whether you are cooking inside or enjoying a meal outdoors, this kitchen has you covered.
At the rear, the bathroom offers a comfortable and functional space complete with a radius shower, toilet, vanity sink, medicine cabinet, and linen storage. A wardrobe located across from the bathroom adds even more storage for clothing and gear.
Outside, you will find plenty of storage options including a pass through compartment and additional rear storage for all your camping equipment. The power awning creates a shaded outdoor living space, and an optional gas grill makes it easy to cook and enjoy meals in the fresh air.
