The Salem 27RKS puts the kitchen at the rear of the trailer, which frees up the middle of the coach for a more open, livable feel rather than the cramped galley setup you find in a lot of comparably priced trailers. Owners consistently highlight the storage capacity and easy bedroom access as standout wins, and at least one long-haul owner logged 30,000+ miles singing its praises. The full bath rounds out a surprisingly complete package for the price point. Forest River's fit-and-finish can vary unit to unit, so a thorough pre-delivery inspection is worthwhile before you hit the road.
Many factors play into a unit's listing price and what you should pay. This guide provides a ballpark estimate, but it does not factor in your exact scenario or how different listings are equipped.
There may be room for price negotiation.
