The 260RT earns its following by packing a genuine toy hauler layout into a tow-friendly package that stays well under 5,000 lbs. Owners consistently praise how easily it pulls behind a half-ton truck. The front bedroom is a real separation from the garage, not just a curtain, and the walk-thru bath adds everyday convenience that most rigs in this class skip. It's equally at home hauling ATVs, motorcycles, or dirt bikes, making it a versatile choice for weekenders who want their gear along for the ride. Build quality is entry-level Forest River, so a thorough pre-delivery inspection is worthwhile, but for the price point, the layout delivers a lot of functionality.
Many factors play into a unit's listing price and what you should pay. This guide provides a ballpark estimate, but it does not factor in your exact scenario or how different listings are equipped.
There may be room for price negotiation.
