At under 1,500 lbs, the 1640LTD can be towed by a surprisingly wide range of vehicles, making it a practical first step up from tent camping without requiring a truck. The full bath is a genuine differentiator in this weight class. Most pop-ups at this price point skip it entirely. Forest River backs the canvas with a 5-year tent material warranty, and owners report the brand's dealer network is aggressive about honoring it. One owner documented it weathering 45 mph winds without leaks, which says something real about build quality for a lightweight unit.
