The front living layout is the star here. Instead of retreating to the back to relax, you get a proper lounge up front with real windows and room to breathe, which is a big reason this rig attracts so many full-timers. Owners consistently call out the residential feel, and the tankless hot water and multi-zone climate control back that up in a practical way. Storage is a genuine strong suit, both inside and in the basement bays, which makes extended trips far more comfortable. Grand Design's thoughtful floor planning shows throughout the 380FL-R, though prospective buyers would do well to do a thorough walk-through inspection at delivery given some reported variability in fit and finish from unit to unit.
