The Lightweight Legend: 2026 Forest River Salem FSX Limited Edition 177ICE
Meet the 2026 Forest River Salem FSX Limited Edition Value 177ICE—the 23-foot travel trailer that proves you don't need a heavy-duty truck (or a heavy-duty budget) to have an absolute blast in the woods.
Perfectly sized for a small family getaway or a cozy couple's retreat with room for guests, this brand-new, ultra-lightweight rig packs incredible utility into a breezy, easy-to-tow package. It skips the complicated setups so you can spend less time fussing with the camper and more time aggressively roasting marshmallows.
Why you'll love it:
A Magic Trick of Space: Don't let the nimble 23-foot length fool you. Between the main Queen bed and the clever bunk beds, you get a dedicated sleeping capacity of 4. That means you don't have to play the dreaded "convert the dinette" game every single night before bed!
Tow with Confidence: Weighing in at a highly manageable 4,099 lbs dry, this compact beauty is an absolute breeze to tow. You can easily haul it with a wide variety of mid-sized SUVs and half-ton trucks without watching your gas gauge plummet in real-time.
Gourmet on the Go: The kitchen is fully loaded with seamless countertops, a residential high-rise faucet, and a 12V under-counter refrigerator to hold all your favorite campfire beverages and essential trail snacks.
Campsite Party Mode: Extend the 12v Power Patio Awning with the push of a button and set up your outdoor living room. Plus, with thick luxury vinyl flooring inside, you won't have to panic when the crew inevitably tracks in a little campground dirt.
Weather Warrior: Mother Nature's mood swings won't ruin your weekend. With a 13.5k Roof AC to beat the summer heat and a 6-gallon DSI hot water heater, you'll stay perfectly comfortable and gloriously clean no matter what the forecast says.
