The 2026 KZ RV Sportsmen Classic 240BH is a smart family bunkhouse that delivers impressive sleeping capacity without moving into a huge, heavy travel trailer. With 48" x 72" double bunks, a front queen bed, jackknife sofa, dinette, full bathroom, 8 cu. ft. refrigerator, and pass-through storage, this floorplan packs a lot of camping capability into just 27' 7".
Even better, the 240BH weighs approximately 4,120 lbs. dry while offering a 5,600-lb. GVWR and 1,480 lbs. of cargo capacity. That makes it an appealing option for families who want plenty of room for the camping crew while keeping overall size and weight manageable.

The Sportsmen Classic 240BH makes excellent use of its no-slide floorplan. The rear 48" x 72" double bunks provide plenty of dedicated sleeping room for kids or guests, while the front 60" x 74" queen bed gives parents their own sleeping area. A 64" jackknife sofa and dinette provide additional seating and sleeping flexibility, allowing this lightweight camper to accommodate a surprisingly large camping crew.
The kitchen includes an 8 cu. ft. 12V refrigerator, two-burner flush-mount cooktop with glass cover, microwave, single-bowl sink, pantry, and overhead cabinetry. The rear bathroom adds a 24" x 36" shower, foot-flush toilet, vanity, and storage, while the 42,000-BTU tankless water heater means nobody has to volunteer to be last in line for a campground shower.
Outside, a 14-foot power awning, pass-through storage, four stabilizer jacks, exterior speakers, spare tire, solar prep, and backup-camera prep add campsite convenience. Construction includes a 5/8" tongue-and-groove plywood floor and 3/8" fully walkable roof with a seamless Tufflex PVC roof membrane.
At approximately 4,120 lbs. dry, the 240BH may work with a variety of properly equipped tow vehicles, but always plan around its potential loaded weight rather than dry weight alone. Compare the trailer's actual loaded weight and tongue weight with the tow vehicle's payload, hitch, axle, tire, GVWR, and GCWR ratings.
The 2026 KZ RV Sportsmen Classic 240BH is a great choice for families who want big bunks and plenty of sleeping capacity without a slide-out or oversized camper. Its straightforward floorplan also means fewer moving parts at the campsite—park it, stabilize it, roll out the awning, and start camping.
With double bunks, a queen bed, sofa, dinette, full bathroom, tankless hot water, 8 cu. ft. refrigerator, and 1,480 lbs. of cargo capacity, there's enough room and capability here for serious family adventures.
Big bunks. No slides. Lightweight design. Plenty of room for the whole camping crew.
