The rear-living layout is what draws most people to the 2916RL. The kitchen island and large living space feel genuinely open, especially for a trailer in this weight class. Forest River loads it with substantial standard kit: 200W solar with a side port for expansion, an 1800W inverter, 12V refrigerator, solid surface countertops, a fireplace, and a power awning with LED lighting, among others. Construction leans on a six-sided full-aluminum frame with complete composite wall lamination and a vacuum-laminated roof, so there's real structure behind the features. Connectivity is well thought out too, with Starlink prep, an AIR 360+ omnidirectional antenna, and the One Control app panel for monitoring systems on the go.
