The Salem FSX 179DBK earns its "small but mighty" reputation by cramming a surprising amount of function into a compact, easy-towing package. Bunk beds and a Murphy bed handle sleeping for five, while the outdoor kitchen keeps the party outside when the weather cooperates. Inside, the no-carpet luxury vinyl flooring, panoramic windows, and a tankless on-demand water heater punch above the price point, and the extra-large holding tanks (75% bigger than average, per Forest River) make the Salem FSX 179DBK a genuine extended-stay option rather than just a weekend rig. Build quality can vary unit to unit, so a thorough pre-delivery walkthrough with your dealer is worth the time.
Many factors play into a unit's listing price and what you should pay. This guide provides a ballpark estimate, but it does not factor in your exact scenario or how different listings are equipped.
