Sleeping 8 people in a package light enough for most midsize SUVs to handle is no small feat, and the 2280LTD pulls it off with two tent beds, a gaucho, and a dinette conversion. The hot water package is a genuine upgrade over bare-bones pop-ups, and owners consistently call out the storage as surprisingly generous for this style of camper. There's a shower/toilet combo onboard. Compact by nature, but it means you're not fully dependent on campground facilities. For the price, it's a lot of camping capability.
