The 242BHS is a bunkhouse layout that sleeps eight without requiring a massive footprint, a real selling point when you're navigating campground sites. Jayco loads the standard package with genuinely useful gear: a tankless water heater, power tongue jack, power awning with LED lights, black tank flush, and a Rock Solid stabilizer system are all included before you start adding options. Inside, the 81-inch ceiling height keeps things from feeling cramped, and the full bath features a curved shower track for a bit more elbow room. For those who want to extend the camping season, the available Baja Edition swaps in a flipped axle and 16-inch Goodyear off-road tires, while the Overlander solar package adds a 200-watt panel and controller for off-grid capability.
