The 42Q is American Coach's answer to what a truly refined diesel pusher should feel like. Aqua-Hot 450D for unlimited hot water, full-floor heated tile, Cambria quartz countertops, and a Fisher & Paykel induction cooktop set the interior tone before you even sit down. The Cummins 450HP engine pairs with FCCC's RoadWatch safety suite and an UltraSteer tag axle that cuts turning radius by 17 feet compared to a fixed tag, a big deal in a 43-foot coach. Owners consistently describe it as driving like something much smaller than it is, with the increased cockpit soundproofing making long highway days genuinely comfortable. The bath-and-a-half rear layout, redesigned wet bay with powered knife valves, and a 25%-larger basement slide tray system round out the kind of thoughtful engineering that keeps owners in these coaches for 15 years at a stretch.
