That over-cab bunk with its 300-lb capacity is a standout feature on the 28DS. It opens up the main living area without sacrificing the booth dinette or the 70" sofa with air hide-a-bed. The kitchen punches above its class with Corian countertops, a double bowl sink, 3-burner range/oven, and a 30" residential microwave, all framed by Brazilian cherry cabinetry with oil-rubbed bronze hardware. Two ducted 13,500 BTU roof ACs and a 6.5KW Guardian generator mean you're not dependent on hookups to stay comfortable. Owners consistently note the Mirada drives like a much pricier rig. Responsive steering, smooth on the highway, and easy enough for a first-time Class A owner to feel confident behind the wheel.
