The Thor Motor Coach Vegas 28.1 drives more like an oversized van than a traditional Class A, which is a genuine advantage for anyone intimidated by big-rig maneuvering. Inside, the Queen bed comes with Thor's Tilt-A-View inclining mechanism, a skylight over the shower adds a touch of openness to the bathroom, and the power drop-down overhead bunk means sleeping three doesn't require any furniture gymnastics. The cockpit is well-equipped for long hauls, with a 14" touchscreen, heated and remote mirrors with side-view cameras, and a dash workstation with both 110-volt and 12-volt outlets. A 100-watt solar panel and an 8,000-lb trailer hitch round out a feature set that leans toward self-sufficient, go-anywhere camping.
