The Forest River Legacy 34A is built around a Cummins ISB 6.7-liter turbo diesel making 340 horsepower and 700 ft-lbs of torque, backed by an Allison MH-2500 6-speed automatic with push-button shifting, a drivetrain combination that earns consistent praise from owners for its road manners on long hauls. The Freightliner XCS straight-rail chassis rides on Neway front and V-ride rear suspension with heavy-duty front shocks, and the full air ABS brakes with variable exhaust brake give it real stopping confidence when towing. Inside, the single full-bath layout is a consistent highlight in owner reviews, and the cockpit area can be optioned with an electric easy-bed to stretch sleeping capacity further. The full-body painted exterior with four layers of clear coat, frameless dual-pane dark-tint windows, and a Carefree latitude patio awning with LED lighting and a wind sensor give the Legacy 34A a polished, upscale presence that punches above its price point in the diesel pusher segment.
