The Newmar Bay Star Sport 2903 earns its following by threading the needle between easy driveability and genuine comfort, sitting at 30 feet with a one-piece tinted windshield and convex mirrors that owners consistently praise for visibility on the road. Underneath, the gelcoated fiberglass sidewalls, front and rear caps are backed by aluminum-frame construction on 16-inch centers with foam insulation laminated into the walls and ceiling, which is more structural rigor than you typically see at this price point in the gas Class A segment. The Ford F-53 chassis with stabilizer bars front and rear keeps things composed on the highway, and the 4.0 kW Cummins Onan generator with automatic changeover means you're not scrambling at the campground. Inside, lighted exterior storage compartments and a skylight above the shower are the kinds of small details that remind you this is a Newmar, not just another box on wheels.
