The Newmar Bay Star 3640 is built around a bunk floor plan with a mid-bath layout, making it one of the more livable configurations in the Bay Star lineup. It rides on a Ford F-53 chassis with a 7.3L V-8 and comes loaded with active safety features including forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, electronic stability control, and lane departure warning. The full-paint Masterpiece Finish with clearcoat and cut-and-buff sets it apart visually, while inside, six 6V house batteries paired with a 2000W Victron inverter with CPAP prep give it serious off-grid capability. Owner reviews consistently rate the Bay Star highly for ride quality and driving confidence, and Newmar's reputation for premium build quality shows in details like laminated sidewalls with 5.8" foam insulation and a one-piece molded fiberglass roof.
