The 360hp Cummins diesel and Allison transmission combo is what owners rave about first. This thing drives like a car despite being a full Class A. Newmar's build quality shows throughout, with generous storage, a double fuel fill, outside shower, and a 10-gallon DEF tank that means fewer stops on long hauls. The rear bedroom layout keeps living and sleeping spaces properly separated, and the 2024 model brought a drop-down bunk option along with upgraded theater seating. Newmar's reputation for coaches that still ride like new years down the road makes the Kountry Star a serious entry point into diesel Class A ownership.
