Built on the Ford Transit platform with a 3.5L EcoBoost and Ford's Co-Pilot360 safety suite, the Coachmen Beyond 22C RWD arrives ready to drive confidently and camp independently. The off-grid foundation is genuinely robust right out of the box: two 110W solar panels, a 2000W Xantrex inverter with auto generator start, a 2.8KW gasoline generator, and a Nova Kool compressor refrigerator all come standard, and the optional Li3 lithium package upgrades that to a 600Ah lithium bank with a second alternator and a 3000W Xantrex inverter/charger for owners who want to stay unplugged longer. Day-to-day livability gets attention too, with a Truma Combi Eco Plus furnace and water heater, Fantastic Fan with rain sensor, hardwood cabinetry, Q-Foam seating and beds, and a Carefree motion-sensing awning. Owners consistently call the Beyond 22C easy and enjoyable to drive, and those who go in prepared for the occasional electronics quirk tend to come away happy with the overall package.
