The Coachmen Pixel P18RB makes a strong case that a van-based rig doesn't have to mean roughing it on the kitchen front. The full rear bath with a one-piece fiberglass shower and cassette toilet is a genuine convenience at this size, and the cooking setup, with an induction cooktop, air fryer/convection microwave, and a 7.3 cu. ft. refrigerator with a pull-out freezer drawer, goes well beyond what most Class Bs offer. Coachmen paired Truma's furnace and on-demand hot water heater with Rockwool R-15 insulation and Cozy Wrap heat shield insulation, so the Pixel P18RB handles shoulder-season camping better than its compact footprint suggests. For those wanting to cut the cord entirely, the optional lithium battery upgrade with a 640 amp-hour bank, second alternator, and Xantrex 3,000W inverter/charger is a serious off-grid package worth a close look.
