New for 2024, the Comet 18C is Jayco's entry into the compact Class B space, and the standout move is a rear wet bath with its own dedicated entry door, a thoughtful touch that keeps bathroom traffic out of the main living area. The RAM ProMaster 1500 chassis earns real praise from owners for its tight turning radius and city-friendly proportions, while the mechanicals punch well above the van's footprint: a 2,800W gas generator, 2,000W inverter, and dual AGM house batteries mean you're not chasing hookups. The Truma Combi G Comfort Plus handles heating and hot water in one unit, the AquaView ShowerMiser manages water conservation in the wet bath, and heated holding tanks keep things functional when temperatures drop. A 54-inch sofa handles daytime lounging, and the optional 200W roof solar rounds out a surprisingly capable off-grid package for something this maneuverable.
