The Roadtrek Zion Base earns its reputation by turning a compact Class B footprint into a genuinely livable space. The rear power sofa is the centerpiece, converting from side-facing twin beds into a full King bed (70" x 75") at the push of a button, and the open center aisle keeps things from feeling cramped when you're not sleeping. The galley is unusually well-equipped for a van-based coach, with a 5.3 cu. ft. compressor refrigerator, two-burner propane stove, microwave, a flip-up counter extension with a charging station, and a slide-out pantry that makes meal prep feel less like a puzzle. Backing all of it up is a serious off-grid setup: 300 watts of solar, a 600-amp lithium battery bank, a 3,000-watt sine wave inverter, and a Truma on-demand water heater, so the Roadtrek Zion Base is built to camp well away from hookups. The Uconnect 5 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and a full suite of driver-assist features on the Ram chassis make the drive itself easy to enjoy, which owners frequently mention as a highlight alongside the fuel economy.
