The Dynamax DX3 36FK is a Super C that earns its reputation on the road, where a Cummins 8.9L turbo diesel cranking 350 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque pairs with an Allison 3200 TRV six-speed and a Jacobs engine brake to make hauling a 20,000-lb trailer feel genuinely manageable. The Freightliner M2 106 chassis underneath brings air brakes with four-wheel ABS, Bilstein front shocks, and an Airliner rear suspension, which goes a long way toward explaining why owners describe it as enjoyable to drive. Inside, the fit and finish draws consistent praise, with quality cabinetry, flooring, and electronics that give the DX3 36FK a coach feel rather than a truck-conversion vibe. Options like the Aqua-Hot 400D all-electric package, a four-door refrigerator with ice maker, and a cab-over bed with a power-swing-arm TV let you build it out well beyond the already-generous base spec.
