The over-cab bunk and King bed combo makes this a layout that actually works for a mixed group of adults and kids without anyone drawing the short straw. Under the hood, the 7.3L V-8 on the Ford E-450 chassis puts out 325 horsepower and 450 ft.-lbs. of torque. Owners specifically call out how well it handles mountain passes and towing. The 27U comes loaded for off-grid use: a 4,000W generator with auto-start, 200W solar with dual controller, second house battery, and heated holding tanks mean you're not just a campground-hookup rig. Thoughtful touches like the panoramic front cap window with power shade, JBL marine-grade exterior speakers, and an exterior utility center show Jayco sweated the details on this one.
