The no-slide design is actually one of the 28A's biggest selling points. Owners consistently praise how stress-free it makes both driving and boondocking, with no mechanical complexity to worry about when you're off the grid. The rear bedroom gives you a genuine separation from the living area, while the bunk over cab handles the sleeping overflow without eating into your living space. Massive basement storage is a recurring theme in owner reviews, and the Ford or Chevy drivetrain gets solid marks for power and reasonable fuel mileage for its class. Toss in an outdoor kitchen and you've got a rig that's genuinely functional from the moment you pull into a site.
