The Tiffin Allegro Bay 38 AB pairs a bunk-over-cab sleeping area and outdoor entertainment center with a drivetrain that means business: a Cummins B6.7 diesel making 360 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque, backed by an Allison 9-speed automatic on the Freightliner S2RV chassis. Inside, Tiffin's reputation for first-rate furniture and décor shows up in the details, from the Spyder multiplex touchscreen controls to the 3,000-watt pure sine wave inverter charger with auto-gen start. The 8.0-kilowatt Onan quiet diesel generator and dual 15,000-BTU heat pump air conditioners handle off-grid comfort, and an auxiliary solar port leaves room to build out a full solar setup. Owners consistently single out the smooth ride and home-like interior feel as standout qualities of the Allegro Bay 38 AB.
