The Jayco Jay Feather X17A earns its following by delivering a full bath, a proper kitchen with a 3-burner range and oven, and sleeping space for six into a package light enough for a wide range of tow vehicles. The tent ends are a standout feature, built on a permanently attached base with water-repellent, scratch-resistant vinyl, zipper windows, and a rated 1,100-lb. capacity per end. These aren't flimsy canvas afterthoughts. Inside, Jayco backs things up with screwed-and-glued cabinetry, 75-lb. full-extension drawer guides, and TuffShell vacuum-bonded laminated walls throughout. The optional Customer Value Package adds a 13,500-BTU air conditioner, microwave, dual propane bottles, and aluminum rims, making it a logical upgrade for anyone planning to use the Jay Feather X17A as a primary camper rather than a weekend toy.
