The Jayco Eagle HT 28CRT flips the usual fifth-wheel script, putting the living area at the rear and the bedroom up front, which opens up a surprisingly social layout anchored by a kitchen island. That outdoor kitchen is no afterthought, built on a galvanized steel frame with an LP quick-connect ready for the optional HALO 22-inch griddle and deep sink via the JayPort system. Jayco's Climate Shield package backs it all up with a fully enclosed heated underbelly, double-layer fiberglass batt insulation, and double-sided radiant barrier, so the Eagle HT 28CRT holds up well in shoulder-season conditions. Practical touches like gas-strutted under-bed storage, 75-lb full-extension drawer guides, USB-C charging ports throughout, and the NuvoH2O water treatment system round out a floor plan that rewards owners who actually live in their rigs.
