Fifth wheel trailers that share features with the Durango Half-Ton D290RLT, like front bedroom and rear living area.
The Durango Half-Ton D290RLT flips the typical fifth wheel layout, putting the bedroom up front and the living area in the rear where you can actually enjoy the view. The construction story is genuinely impressive for the price point: Lamilux gelcoat fiberglass, 5-sided aluminum framing, and a 1-piece seamless Tufflex roof with a lifetime warranty. PEX in-floor heated waterlines, a 35,000 BTU furnace with straight-line in-floor heat distribution, and fully enclosed and heated dump valves mean cold-weather camping is a real option rather than an afterthought. Inside, all-wood lumber-core cabinets with dovetail drawer boxes and 100 lb drawer glides set a noticeably higher fit-and-finish bar than most competitors at this price. Worth knowing going in: KZ markets the D290RLT as half-ton-compatible, but real-world pin weight can test the limits of lighter trucks, so it's worth running your specific tow vehicle's specs before you buy.
