Three slides open up the living space considerably, and the kitchen is a genuine highlight. Solid-surface counters, an upgraded 22" gas oven with a flush-mount cover, a large double-door refrigerator, and more cabinet storage than you'd expect at this weight. Dual A/C units (with a heat strip in the bedroom) means both ends of the rig stay comfortable independently, and the Serta mattress upgrade is a nice touch for a unit in this class. Coming in around 8,700 lbs, the 8298WS sits in a sweet spot for fifth wheel towers who want real amenities. Screwed-and-glued cabinetry, torsion axles with Rubber-Ryde suspension, thermostatically controlled heated tanks. Without needing a max-payload dually to get there. The bunk room with its own TV and a jack-knife sofa in the living area give this floor plan a lot of flexibility for how the space actually gets used.
