The Forester 3151S earns consistently high marks for its floorplan and drivability, with owners on RV Insider rating those categories at 4.2 out of 5 across nearly 100 reviews. Forest River loads it with genuinely useful features: an auto generator start, expandable 200-watt roof-mounted solar, arctic package tank heaters, and a ceiling-ducted 15,000 BTU AC that owners describe as surprisingly quiet. The cab area is well-equipped too, with a 10-inch CarPlay/Android touchscreen, backup and side-view cameras, and heated remote mirrors that make the Forester 3151S feel more polished behind the wheel than its price point might suggest. Build quality draws more mixed feedback than the layout does, which is worth factoring in, but as a feature-rich, four-season-capable Class C with room for five, the Forester 3151S offers a lot of functionality for the money.
Many factors play into a unit's listing price and what you should pay. This guide provides a ballpark estimate, but it does not factor in your exact scenario or how different listings are equipped.

The 2027 Forest River Forester 3151SF is a Class C motorhome designed to give families and groups more room to travel comfortably without moving into an oversized coach. At approximately 32 feet long, the 3151SF offers a spacious interior with an 84-inch interior height and a slide-out that expands the main living area once you’re parked.
Inside, the slide-out helps create a more open space for relaxing, spending time together, and settling in after a day of driving. The entertainment center gives the living area a natural place to gather, while the floorplan can accommodate up to six people, making this Forester a practical choice for family trips or traveling with friends.
For longer stays away from home, the self-contained setup is especially useful. The 44-gallon fresh water tank, 39-gallon gray tank, and 39-gallon black tank provide useful onboard capacity, while the 41-pound LP tank supports the coach's systems when you're camping away from full hookups. A 10.7-cubic-foot refrigerator provides plenty of space for keeping food and drinks organized during extended trips.
Behind the wheel, the Forester rides on a 220-inch wheelbase with a 14,500-pound GVWR and 22,000-pound GCWR. Its 55-gallon fuel tank also gives you a substantial fuel supply for covering distance between stops. Outside, the 23-foot 6-inch awning creates a large covered area for relaxing beside the coach when you're parked.
