The Sports Enthusiast name isn't just marketing. The 228BHSE backs it up with a chassis lift, bigger tires, solar, a 12V refrigerator, and generous cargo capacity designed around hauling bikes, kayaks, or hunting gear. Owners consistently call it one of the easiest pop-ups to tow, and the bunkhouse layout with dedicated bunk beds means the kids have their own space without eating into the main cabin. The 228 series has earned a reputation as the sweet spot of the Flagstaff lineup. More interior room than smaller models, without the added complexity of the larger SE units. For a pop-up, it punches well above its weight on capability.
