ATC builds the PLA 700 2816 around a full perimeter welded aluminum frame. Six sides, no wood anywhere, including the cabinets and drawers. Which gives it a durability profile you don't often see in travel trailers. The rear ramp door with non-slip tread and loading lights opens up genuine hauling capability, while the 7'6" interior height keeps things from feeling cramped once you're inside. Standard solar (200 watts, 1000W inverter, 100Ah battery) means you're not starting from zero on off-grid capability, and the Energy Package can be scaled all the way up to 800 watts of solar with 540Ah of heated lithium if you need serious boondocking power. The 2816 is one of only two floorplans in the 700 series where you can opt for a King bed instead of Queen, and the optional 3-season enclosed patio room or deck package at the rear ramp makes the layout genuinely versatile.
