The Coachmen Clipper 18FQ makes a strong case for going small without giving much up. The Murphy bed frees up living space during the day, and the rear bath layout keeps the floor plan open and usable rather than chopped up. Coachmen loads the 18FQ with genuinely useful gear, including a tankless on-demand water heater, a 12V refrigerator, a microwave, and a power awning with LED lighting, so you're not piecing together basics after the sale. Owners consistently praise how easily the Clipper tows and sets up, though Coachmen's fit-and-finish and warranty support get more mixed reviews, so a thorough pre-delivery inspection is worthwhile.
