The 27K2D earns its bunkhouse credentials with double-over-double bunks for the kids and a 72" x 80" King bed for the adults. Sleeping nine without anyone drawing the short straw. A fireplace and entertainment center anchor the living area, while the oversized pass-thru storage and power tongue jack make setup and packing-out noticeably easier. The optional outdoor kitchen with a built-in fridge and pull-out griddle is a genuine upgrade worth considering if you do a lot of camp cooking. East to West positions the Silver Lake as a value-focused line, and the layout delivers a lot of floor plan for the price. Though prospective buyers should factor in some owner-reported variability in build quality when shopping.
