The 17MKE is built around a Murphy bed and theater seating, which means the living space opens up considerably when you're not sleeping, a smart move in a trailer this size. The mid-kitchen layout keeps the kitchen central and accessible, and Forest River loads it up with genuinely useful kit: a 10 cu. ft. 12V high-efficiency refrigerator, a 100W solar panel expandable to 450W, and an 81-gallon fresh water tank dubbed the "Niagara". Serious capacity for a couples rig. Practical details like blackout pull shades throughout, a motion-sensing bathroom night light, and a smart monitor panel with Bluetooth connectivity add day-to-day convenience, while the optional weather guard and armored underbelly packages let you dial in protection for harsher conditions.
