The Forest River Cherokee 284RJ is a feature-forward travel trailer that delivers a lot of living space for the tow rating, with mocha-stained shaker-style cabinets, a double door refrigerator, and a high-output cooktop backed by a carousel microwave. The kitchen is thoughtfully outfitted with full-extension roller glide drawers, a large single-bowl sink, and an upgraded backsplash, while the bedroom gets pendant reading lights and nightstands on both sides of the bed. Outside, you get a patio awning, lighted exterior speaker, and large radius luggage doors for gear storage. Owners frequently call the Cherokee 284RJ easy to tow and well laid out, and the value-per-feature ratio is a consistent bright spot for buyers keeping an eye on budget.
