The front living room layout is the real draw here. It separates the lounge from the sleeping area in a way that makes the whole trailer feel more intentional. At 82" of headroom, it doesn't have that crouched-in feeling that plagues a lot of trailers in this class. The roof-mounted solar panel is a nice touch for boondocking, and small details like glass shower doors and 100% LED lighting inside and out show Forest River put some thought into the spec sheet. The Grand Surveyor sits squarely in mid-range territory. Solid value, especially once you're familiar with the rig.
