The 282RLDS puts the living area at the rear of the trailer, which is a smart layout choice. It creates a more open, settled feel to the main gathering space and keeps foot traffic from cutting through it. Forest River's Independence Trail line has earned a reputation for solid plumbing and frames, and owners across the lineup consistently note how well these trailers hold up in cold weather, staying warm well below freezing. A full bath keeps things comfortable for a group of six without the compromises that come with a three-quarter setup. It's an honest, capable trailer from a major manufacturer. Built more for reliability than luxury.
