The rear living layout on the 28RLSS is its defining feature. Rather than the typical rear bedroom, the lounge area sits at the back, creating a more open, separated feel between sleeping and living spaces. Owners frequently single out the mattress and climate control as genuine strengths, which matters more than it might sound in a travel trailer. Forest River's Salem line targets the weekend warrior crowd, and this floor plan leans into that with a full bath and seating room for the whole group.
