What stands out immediately about the 28BHE is how much Forest River managed to fit into a lightweight Hyper Lyte build. Bunk room, a full bath with skylight, and a residential 10.7 cu. ft. refrigerator, all without pushing the trailer into heavy-duty tow territory. The Reserve Package raises the bar considerably: solid surface countertops, a 50" TV with built-in soundbar, tankless on-demand hot water, and 200W of roof-mounted solar come standard rather than as costly add-ons. Hard bedroom doors (not curtains) and 80" interior height give the space a more residential feel than most bunkhouse trailers in this class. The 15,000 BTU ducted A/C. Already an upgrade over the typical 13,500 BTU unit. Can be paired with an optional second A/C in the bunk room if you're camping in serious heat.
