When the Imagine AIM line debuted, it took home RV Business's Top RV Debut and RV News' Lightweight Travel Trailer of the Year, and the 16BL shows exactly why. Bunk beds and a Murphy bed share a thoughtfully laid-out interior with a full bath, a 78" ceiling that keeps things from feeling cramped, and residential-style cabinetry with solid drawer fronts and ball-bearing full-extension glides. Outside, the exterior cooking griddle with a metal pullout drawer, power tongue jack, and heated enclosed underbelly with suspended tanks reflect the kind of practical, quality-first thinking Grand Design is known for. Owners consistently call it easy to tow and praise the frame and build quality, and the optional AIM Enhancement Package adds a backup camera, second 200W solar panel, 2000W inverter, and a tire pressure monitoring system for those who want to go further off the beaten path.
