The Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite 279BH centers its layout around a dedicated bunkhouse, stacking sleeping space for a crowd while keeping a full bath and a raised patio area in the mix. On paper the floorplan is genuinely practical, and owners consistently praise how the space is arranged for groups. That said, RVInsider reviews for the Ameri-Lite 279BH tell a recurring story of roof, window, and slide leaks alongside loose fittings and warranty frustration, with overall quality scores that land well below average. If the layout appeals, it's worth reading through owner reviews carefully and budgeting for a thorough pre-purchase inspection.
